Raising Sand

I can't stop listening to this album.. it's such a precious little gem!!
I saw Robert Plant when i was in NY.. we were having dinner at the Bowery and I kept staring at him-- he put the menu up in front of his face so i would stop staring at him. Whatever RP.. i worship you!

Midlake have a new album coming out... one of my favourite bands!!
I remember meeting the lead singer - I vomited praise on him & we spoke of songwriting.. he graciously indulged in a lengthy conversation on different methods you can use to kick off writing a song. Lead with the Bass, or start on the keyboard etc. He was such a humble gentleman who even asked me how i write songs... Bless!!! He silently went home to his wife while i took the rest of the band out to Vegas!! haha!
