The bookie's house

Last night i went to visit some friends who were house sitting in Mosman -- the view was truly spectacular and i later found out that it was the house for famous Sportingbet bookie Michael Sullivan.. who recently had his car set on fire outside his house..

we speculated on how dodgy he was and if being a bookie or in horses meant that you were crook - we concluded that it meant you had some degree of crookedness. But most people seem fine with that. Acceptable dodgyness - doesn't have anything to do with drugs, taking lives (except if you lose a bet - that might feel like that) but seemingly can create some ire with punters.
